All I can say is it happened over a period of months, and in a Temple which ended up as TERF Central!
Before my egg cracked I was welcomed in, and encouraged to "be my own true authentic expression", at which point my egg cracked to a chorus of "No! Not like that!" from the TERFs.
Well, I did think to myself, do not encouraged a trans woman to be her own true authentic expression then, and act all shocked when she comes out of the closet!
