Mixed feelings about this one. It's very slight, though maybe that's just as well, since I'm not especially enjoying the author's company. But it's undeniably (if superficially) interesting on a subculture I know little about

@Spencro I liked the film too. Grant was terrific, and McCarthy's version of the narrator was far more sympathetic than the book presents. (Not that I need a sympathetic narrator, necessarily, but in this case, yeesh)

@stancarey Ah, that's interesting. The viewer is definitely rooting for McCarthy, I think.
