Kinda sad to see so many humans who are apparently to lazy to read, spoon feed content to LLMs for a quick summary

So we're trying to prevent companies from basically stealing our content and in the meanwhile humans are creating tools for it

Instead of spending time on such a bullshit tool, how about you read the posts instead

@stux and what's up with all this "have to be aware of everything that's on the feed" FOMO?

If you miss some posts - so fucking what?

If it's something big or funny enough, you'll be seeing references to and boosts of it for days anyway 🤷‍♂️

@nCrazed @stux Its the same way people drive cars. A subset of folks are buying this idea that they are missing everything and must optimize by going faster, doing more, and "work smarter not harder".

It is brainwashing and it has worked on some folks.

The rest of us are living slower and deeper where ever possible. It is so important to take that cleansing breath and double down on that.

Its important not to let their FOMO ways take too much air from where you want to place your attention.

@nCrazed @stux I'm not minimizing the danger these folks pose (thus the driving example).

But, as long as none of us lose sight of being part of our niches and behaving in ways that create community and provide value, the main way to fight back is to create and stick to house rules.

We don't need to argue and debate with ai folks who cross the line. They violate house rules, they're out. If they can someday behave and earn trust...well...actions speak louder and all.
