As I've been just lying down sick for the last few days, I ended up watching Pluribus. I liked it although sometimes I was ahead of the plot (eg. "milk") and there were big questions nobody asked. eg isn't this the end of art? what is the purpose of life?
@ElectronDance huh interesting. I thought they posed the "is this the end of art" question, at least obliquely, by how enthusiastic the hive mind was about Carol's storytelling
@ElectronDance (implying that the hive mind was, while maybe able to conceive of new stories/art/ideas, unable to *surprise* itself... and I'm pretty sympathetic to the idea that this dialogic aspect is pretty important to art-as-we-know-it)

@jcreed it had been on my mind since the beginning but when the world became excited for another Wycaro novel it seemed to invite the question: once I'm gone, that's it for new art, right?

But it went unasked: I was curious what the Pluribus thought about this

@jcreed but also I suspected they might have been putting on a show for Carol, just like they've done everywhere else

There was a sense they were getting better at theatre as the series went on. Zosia was a better companion in the latter half.
