I can finally quickly test adaptive layouts in Firefox’s new Split View mode. For more advanced testing, there’s https://polypane.app, of course. But there are many other simpler side-by-side use cases. Yay!

@pepelsbey but can it do this? eh? eh??
@Kilian Show off! 🙄
@pepelsbey I can show off for days. Check this out!
@Kilian @pepelsbey I was talking with my manager yesterday about polypane and he was like, oh, you can kind of do that with split view right?
And them I showed him the sync scroll/actions ^^
@Kilian @pepelsbey but you can get kind of close to it, you can emulate dark mode too, it just won't be as nice of a workflow that what polypane gives you (and will be limited to 2 viewports)
@Kilian @pepelsbey at least we wanted to https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1184438 (nice to see polypane mentioned there :) )
@nicolaschevobbe There were some interesting UI explorations from the firefox devtools team around that time (5 or 6 years ago) for that ticket/feature too!
