I’m still surprised by how many people don’t think about efficiency - not just in terms of performance and scalability, but also energy consumption and storage requirements etc etc.

There are so many people that either have never used a profiler or if they did, only for a specific problem and never again.

There is a lot more to say on this and I'll likely get to it 2nd half of the year.

Until then - profile and optimize your most used code paths :)
