Anyone a connoisseur of oysters? My mother has requested them for her 100th birthday next week, and I have no idea what I should serve with them. Is there a particular dressing or something π€·ββοΈ?
@MargaretD itβs been about 40 years since I had them, but I remember the usual way was served raw on s bed of crushed ice with lemon of lime wedges and a little salt, fresh bread and butter on the side.
Or you can cook them fancy like Oysters Kilpatrick, grilled with bacon and a drop of Worcestershire sauce.
