I honestly don’t know who to vote for among the Democrats.

I’m leaning toward Tom Steyer, who seems most aligned with my values, but I hate to vote in Yet Another Billionaire into office.

“Crowded Democratic race for California governor could open door for Republicans”

@drahardja I’m just going with whoever the Working Family Party endorses

@drahardja It doesn't matter what else Tom Steyer believes in, the fact that he's a billionaire means his principles don't align with mine. I'm not sure what his total wealth is, but let's say it's an even billion.

He could donate $500M to charity, and still have more wealth than he needs. At a modest return of 4%, he would be making $20M a year, again, way more than you need to live very, very comfortably.

Myself, if you gave me 1 million, I could live comfortably off the investment interest for the rest of my life and never touch the principal.

Think of the good you could do in this world by giving away $500M. The fact that he has kept it is immoral. I've had enough of immoral presidents, I don't want an immoral governor, even if he has a D after his name.

I haven't made up my mind yet, but Tom Steyer isn't on my short list.
