Although you may have heard that the Competition & Markets Authority is requiring vets to publicise prices & ownership (and noting that prescribed drugs may be cheaper elsewhere), this is not really gong to trouble the private equity oligopoly (the six firms that now operate 60% of all vets).

The (now de-fanged) CMA has given them a pretty easy ride, and if this is how their 'intervention' in dentistry goes, then don't expect any major shifts in that sector either.
