Do you enjoy writing poetry or flash-fiction?

If so, I'd be interested in publishing your work. I am paying!

I mail out postcards 25 times a year, each with original stories and poems on them. I type the stories out on a manual typewriter, and then scan them onto the postcards.

I call it First-Class Fiction: https://nantucketlit.com/postcards

Some past/upcoming postcards were written by: @NylaWoethief @atgonzalez @superball @asakiyume, @amin, and Anna Frazier.

@nantucketlit

Nicholas is a delight to write for! I highly recommend giving it a try if you’d like to see your short poem(s) or microfiction out there in a unique way.

@nantucketlit That's such a lovely idea. I'd love to write something for you – do you have submission guidelines covering length, types of subject and other requirements (like, I write UK English, is that OK?)?

@janeishly Yes, UK English is not a problem.

Space is very tight on a postcard, so my suggestion for poetry is no more than 12 lines (include line breaks in that), and no more than 25 characters per line.

I try to have a mix of tones. People like upbeat cards, but I think a few sad/dark cards are important for variety.

The only real limit is that this is a postcard, so our respective postal services can see everything. Not a big deal.
