I’m making a throw from op shop souvenir tea towels. Minnie liked the last one I made, and it seems she also approves of this one 😆
Recycling project complete! I made this throw from 9 tea towels, backed/bound with an old sheet.
Tea towels have great sturdy fabric and are especially good for places where cats hang out - they’re less vulnerable to claw damage than most fabrics 😆
I got the idea from a friend who made a great duvet cover with souvenir tea towels.
If you want to make something with tea towels just be aware they don’t have a standard size. I rejected some because they were too small or large to fit with the others. No great loss because I can still use them as tea towels 😆
