@knowprose I don't think my own oracles are less accurate, when I let my thoughts wander, taking in consideration the flight of birds and what my subconscious brings up, when it is poked a bit...

But you got a nice overview on oracles, be grateful.

This is how it ends up when it is allowed to make decisions with impact on human lives. Social decisions.

The actual article was using oracles to make a deeper point.

And that was the point of writing it.

@knowprose I understood that and tried to be ironic. I read the article. And it just put there some strings on oracles in general that had nothing to do with what the tissue of your text.

@sibylle Yup.

Everyone's complaining about how AI summaries are decreasing their web traffic.

I don't care about the web traffic.

I care about the writing being read and understood by others.

If one person gets it, it's worth it.

If 3 people get it, wow. :)

@knowprose I have a wp blog for more than a decade, personal arty farty little blog. I did the seo thing, I tried writing to get traffic. It didn't work.
I just got ok with tha fact that search engines are not there to help me. I have it there for people I meet in real life, to show them what I do.
Ripped out all of the seo bloat, just my little garden. I don't let their greed and meat grinder patty making approach to intelligence stop me from sharing...

I have been blogging 26 years or so.

But misrepresentation is a problem.

That seems to be getting lost here.
