@Spoon I taught in too many of those demountables. In one, no form of heating. It gets cold in NSW south-west! They bodged up a heater, with many extension power cords. Eventually, two cords melted where they met. Finally galvanised the boss to do something better. ๐Ÿ”Œ
@treleanor I hear you on this one. I spent 40+ years in many settings and the conditions were worse every year. In their negotiations with the states, the commonwealth government has battled and battled to provide as little of the Gonski level funding as they possibly can. It's clear that there is a desire to do away with public education all together. Another area where Labor can safely swing right because the 'opposition' doesn't have a policy at all.
