But I’m a little optimistic that at least the harsh addictive algorythms get banned so that the networks get more open.

@evischreck I think this is more about them being responsible for their content and the algorithms they use (the way they program their AIs for engagement)
If they have to pay for damaging content, they will either ban it, or not share it as much... and have to put things in place to stop the spread, say of misinformation.
Online safety could start with them being responsible - at the moment, they are not.
