Here’s the thing you need to know about people who transitioned as adults: their transition is probably a truly epic saga. They might be the most basic person ever, and they might not tell you their story, but it’s there.

Maybe it’s about the extremes they reached running from their dysphoria. Maybe it’s an intricate web of relationships and pain and sorrow. Maybe it’s an internal tale of descending into themselves to battle daemons that society itself cursed them with.

Transition is wild, yo.

@Willow speaking of epic, your timing, for me. 😲 literally had my initial appt w/ endocrinologist TODAY to start HRT. very emotional day, and i barely slept last night, so going to bed momentarily.
no story til tomorrow, but a teaser chronology: only "boy" in indoor color guard in high school, near death experience 1st year of college, suicide attempt 3rd year of college, 17 years of "functional" alcoholism, suicide attempt 2018, then sober 8 years, out as enby 2 years ago, out as me... now! 🤸🏻‍♀️
