the problem with having Ableton in a little box & dozens of parameters mapped for realtime control is that i can do basically anything imaginable with it. the options are quite nearly endless, & that's wonderful. but also holy hell it's just....so much. limits are great, really, & i haven't designed quite enough of them in it seems.
@tsrono Always hard to get the right balance between not enough control and constantly getting lost because you have too many things. I'm always tinkering with my jam rig trying to find the perfect balance.

@skullzy no doubt on that...from the jam clips i've seen you post it's pretty tight & focused.

and i'm usually good about just programming the things i need/want for that particular track or tracks into whatever the setup is at that time, but designing this big live set (~40 minutes) i wanted to make sure i had a lot of options in there for the whole run to feel varied and interesting, i kinda went overboard i guess 

@tsrono I feel you. it's so easy to go overboard. I'm sure you'll find the sweet spot before show time.
