@yngmar That was interesting. I just weld my gates up from 2 inch electrical conduit. Fast, strong, and they last forever!

@GoatsLive I guess your electrical conduits are galvanized steel pipes rather than plastic?

That's what I made the back gate from, but I think this guy wanted to have a little fun making it rather than just slap together a quick gate.

I'm thinking about what to about a new front gate. Preferably something that can open with a meter of snow, which the current swing gate or anything on rollers or tracks cannot.

@yngmar Yes to the galvanized. The upswing gates are nice indeed. You can also weld up a mount that as the gate swings backwards, it also goes up into the air. Used for uphill driveways. The latter can be used with a standard linear actuator.
