andymandiassometimes I do feel really pretty terrible at writing software
then I use other software, and also feel like… you know, we’re all in this together
and now after all that work I have a usable terminal emulator again 🤞

I was using Wezterm for a few years, but noticing some clipboard issues with KDE recently. So I'm on the hunt.
@quaff I was using Alacritty for a long time and quite liked it, then for some reason it started refusing to open new windows on login sessions more than a few days old. only fix I found was a restart, which I prefer to do as infrequently as possible
then I was on Ghostty for a bit. but the snap doesn’t integrate well into the system, and when I built it from source it refused to open because it wouldn’t recognize the available OpenGL on one of machines
so… I’m on WezTerm now 😆
@andymandias oh boy. I was using kitty on macOS for a while. and it was really nice. WezTerm is super nice on macOS too. On KDE it's really nice too, but the clipboard thing really bothers me haha clipboard between windows are different -_- maybe it's a me problem. Hopefully it's better for you! It's a great term.
@quaff each window has its own clipboard on KDE WezTerm? interesting, I have fortunately not seen that 🤞(using GNOME over here)
@andymandias another +1 for gnome right there.. ugh haha maybe I'll look into it a bit more this weekend. could just be me doing something dumb
