If this looks good, then there's no reason for these clothes not to be used by all. I understand the marketing imperative. But that imperative leaves a whole lot of people behind.

Many accessibility adaptations have already become mainstream, such as automatic doors. These help a wide variety of people who aren't considered disabled but who have access needs, such as people with prams or trolleys.
That tends to cement their usefulness for stores, as they get more footfall and more customers mean more income. It's a win-win.
