Just arrived home from ATL. It took roughly 2 hours to get past TSA, about an hour and a half longer than it took at Seatac 3 days before.

I only ever saw about 5 marked ICE agents, none of them white, and I can confirm the reports of them standing around and doing nothing are 100% true, at least until 8:30 am when I finally got through.

One of the guys was actually impeding the work of a TSA employee, chatting him up as if they were decades long friends. I estimate a 6% reduction in check in time had the powers that be moved that ICE agent to work holding the line que signs outside and had those employees work the checkpoints.

By the way, Atlanta is a lovely city. Everything around it, not so much, but damn, Atlanta is a great American city that I highly recommend. When I go back, it won't be during pollen season. Everything was sepia toned, so it almost felt like I was in a film from the early 2000s, set in Mexico City. I just need to time it for when there is warmth, but no humidity or pollen.

@NickBoss We really only have 2 months of cold followed by 2 months of pollen, followed by 8 months of humidity. Those are your only choices. Sorry. But really, Atlanta is a nice place.
@hydropsyche I rather loved the weather this weekend. Pollen season may be it for my next trip.
@NickBoss I really love living in a place that is mostly very pleasant most of the year (I don't mind humidity).
