How to make a wifi7 router from scratch using spare guitar tube amp components? Asking on behalf of myself and millions of Americans.
@vwbusguy but the tubes are not made in the US. as far as i know all manufacture of vaccum tubes is in eastern europe. least of the ones worth a darn.

@Mirppc That *used to* be true 10 years ago but I thought there were a couple stateside since - one of them in Georgia, IIRC.

@vwbusguy Ahhh. I know Schiit is based in Santa Clarita and they use Tube stuff. Not Santa Clara. Think Magic Mountian more than Silcon Valley.

@Mirppc Never been to Santa Clara and don't know where it is on a map, but I've driven through Santa Clarita many many times.
@vwbusguy
It is near San Jose and is the county seat for the county that San Jose is in.
@Mirppc I think I've driven through San Jose exactly one time? I'm not a California native and have only lived in So Cal area since moving here.
@vwbusguy Ahh. Oddly it is not off the 101 if i recall. I thought you might have gone to some Linux/Unix/Redhat even there.
@Mirppc I've done Fedora events in So Cal and Portland, but not in between. I did speak at a tech conference near Sacramento a year or so ago, but the topic there was about SUSE.
