The sleepy suburb of Barrhaven is slowing bidding goodbye to the faux-english-pub phase of its sad culinary history, and embracing a more exciting mix of cafes, pastry places, and middle-east-adjacent breakfast places.

I had a very nice shakshuka this morning.

The downside is that my brain is throwing up some visual aura to remind me that I can not handle Turkish coffee. Oops.
