So, #Firefly is coming back, animated, good. Serial harasser Joss Whedon is not involved, good. Outspoken transphobe and father of GamerGate Adam Baldwin is coming back, bad. Very bad. Disappointing even. They can’t take the sky from me, but I’ll have to skip this one.

@macmanx I back not having Whedon involved, but I've always been curious where he saw the storyline go before Fox killed it. Even if Baldwin also weren't involved, will the new one still "be" Firefly or just a story in the same universe? The cast definitely made the show, but I'm not sure it ends up good in the same way, especially animated where you won't get those in-person cast interactions. Maybe that's fine and it can be good in its own way (except for Baldwin's involvement)
