hai where are all the queer linux audio nerds I need their help :c

how the frick do make my audio just work and not bork itself randomly? it feels my bluetooth outputs work and then stop after lid-close, is that a thing I need to account for somehow?

You want bluetooth to continue playing/outputting to connected devices when you close your laptop.

no, sorry I did a bad job of explaining ^^"

I just want my bluetooth audio output to re-appear after closing and opening my laptop. right now if I close my laptop and then open it my bluetooth device connects and appears as an audio configuration profile (configuration tab in pavucontrol) but isn't listed as an output, sometimes I can restart services and it comes back, other times a full restart is needed, or maybe that's just what it seemed like because I'm relying on a race condition lol
