Youngest has a lovely collection of action figures that he’d like to have some proper shelves for.

It’s occurred to me that I could get a cheap LED light strip with IR remote control. I could wire up a Raspberry Pi Pico W with an IR LED and a 3D printed box around that and the receiver.

We could then program the lights, and control them over network.

@lightbeaminsight I bought a set of individually programmable led’s from Ali express and they work great with my lolin d32 pro and great project to hack on
You could also drive them off a cheaper board but I needed the esp32 chip to do the Scratch style programming with the kid.

@lightbeaminsight the D32 Pro has a battery interface also. Just fyi. I have awesome success with all lolin board. S3, D1, D32 etc
