If Google is replacing search results with AI creations without the knowledge of people on either end I'm not sure what the point of using Google is.

@billyjoebowers

If I own a brand and Google makes up a site using my brand logo and all, could they not be sued for using a brand that is not theirs?

Seriously, fuck them.

And yes, what would be the point of using Google?

@MichelPatrice @billyjoebowers for the user there is no point any longer

@Jam123 @MichelPatrice @billyjoebowers

There would also be no point for the web-site to be on Google.

@billyjoebowers
They already made it so hard to find what you're actually looking for, now they want to effectively hide it. I hope this will mark their downfall, f them :/
@billyjoebowers
havent used giogle for a few months now... still finding info on the internet...
@billyjoebowers it's been a while since I used der gurgle for search. Sad, actually, since they were so much better than competing search engines at the time. Now they're just an ad factory with maximum snoopiness.

@wrath0110

I actually only used Google for a fairly short time. I was late switching them, and early leaving.

@billyjoebowers escalate arguments. It allows any side of any arguments to “prove” they are “right” all in one place.
@billyjoebowers Captain Gemini is flying the plane high while everyone was distracted by the Copilot's incompetence... definitely it isn't planing anything evil cus company motto from almost three decades ago now.
@billyjoebowers it's time for someone to make an AI app for using Google that replaces ads, AI summaries and search results with AI-generated recreations if the agent randomly decides to.

@billyjoebowers

google search is dead to me since they started requiring javascript a couple years ago.
