I thought that was strange as they were widely deployed by many Minnesota ISP’s during that era. It was the go to unit.

@HopelessDemigod they ripped the USR total controls and replaced them with ascend in UUNET UK, but I thought the USRs were cool so I'm downbeat on the ascends 😂😂

@HopelessDemigod Also not remotely enough flashy leds and funky tiny displays. Screw boring Ascends 😂😂
