@solitha my medical condition makes being vegan difficult, but I do eat a low meat diet, do what I can
I live in the countryside, my options for meatspace friends is limited
this guy has always treated me right, but his politics suck
he is at best a centrist who sees bad people on both sides, and at worst culturally right wing thanks to the slop on social media
my brother is worse, far right, sigh
@normjess I understand. I escaped from conservatism, but my remaining family still inhabit that world, except maybe one nephew.
Grateful for a spouse and in-laws anchored more in rationality.
