My family and I are heading to Japan tomorrow and I’m so excited. While planning, my mom asked ChatGPT about one of our stops, and it warned it “might not be good for Grace because the rooms are often dark.” It even added that “not being able to see on top of being blind” would make it extra inaccessible. Uh… ChatGPT, do you know what blind means? Dark rooms are kind of my default, lol.
@GraceTechNerd Most people think that blind means you can see a little bit.
@Bri That’s true, I do have light perception, and can see some color, but not enough to be useful visually.
@GraceTechNerd yeah. I have light perception myself.
@Bri @GraceTechNerd My vision's weird, its light, colors and basic outlines, but not the deep details, like if someone asked me to tell them what color their eyes are, can't see that as that's a fine detail that my eyes can't make out. I have optic nerve hypoplasia, also known as septo optic displasia.
@alexchapman @GraceTechNerd I also have that.
@Bri @alexchapman I also have that. This is quite the coincidence.
@GraceTechNerd @Bri Coincidence indeed
