Who told you #meshcore is "uninterruptible"? Afaik, there is very little build-in security against DDOS attacks.

And you can probably even do without the first "D": I have a feeling that even a single misbehaving node, e.g., one that rapidly sends junk crafted to "require" flood routing, might well be able to bring down a whole area.
