@kevinrns Might be a bit of wishful thinking here but maybe Rod should consider go completely independent as its own streaming service stationed in Canada, in order to protect it's legacy?
Let's be honest:
SFA is already shot in Toronto and financially supported by Ontario. The entire show is atm much more canadian than american (no offense) due to it's open celebration of diversity, equality and inclusion.
I don't see why Rod would even need Paramount as a middle man in this digital age? 🤔
@kevinrns Maybe pulling off a Curiosity Stream-like move is the best thing as an interim solution until the current uhm...'abusive situationship' is being dealt with?
At least I don't see how a creative industry could thrive while it's creative freedom (or physical freedom) is under constant threat of getting cut, limited or at least manipulated by forces of ill intentions.
