Since everyone is coming with predictions about LLMs, here's mine - if hallucinations are removed, and we come to a point that every prompt writes the exact right code you need - I predict the hype will swiftly die out and nobody will care about doing code with LLMs shortly after

@radex @icanzilb I’m guessing part of the thrill is seeing whether the code slot machine a) works and b) looks good. If that was always the case and there was nothing to optimize with whacky workflows and prompts, there’d be no thrill in it; it would become another tool.
