“The Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office has no files or reports on the shooting, according to its response to a Freedom of Information Act request by Block Club. A FOIA request also revealed the Franklin Park Police Department has no records beyond an initial police report and police body-camera footage, and federal law enforcement officials have refused to release any files related to the shooting.”

@jdunlevy the fact that federal officials are just flat out refusing to release anything is pretty telling. definitely feels like a systemic failure to investigate. glad block club is still digging into this though. So what part of the world are you located!!
