I am very tempted to try and DIY some of the Van repairs. I need to put a new starter in, that seems relatively easy. Also need to do a full oil change and tune up. That doesn't seem as easy but doable.

Then my brain asked if I could do my own brakes. Conceptually it seems like I could do it. What worries me is the amount of force needed to do this stuff. I may workout but I keep having issues moving stuff.

And I keep thinking of it all tipping forwards. So doing it in sections front and back.

But then while I have the wheels off I could take two and get new tires.

Its kinda snowballed in my head.

Starters are pretty straightforward so long as they're accessible. With some exceptions, it's usually just a connector and a couple bolts you can get to from underneath. Oil change should be the easiest of your plans. Not familiar with your engine but you might need a thin, strap-style wrench for the filter based on some pictures I've seen of Express vans. If it looks like this one there might not be room to grab it with your hands, filter pliers or a socket if it's on really tight.
