Julian SanchezWe could just scrap TSA and go back to having airports & airlines be responsible for their own security. We wouldn’t have this chaos when there’s a government funding gap, and as a nice perk we’d ditch a lot of time-consuming theater that adds little meaningful security benefit.
We haven’t had a 9/11 repeat because (a) we reinforced cockpit doors, and (b) the fact that 9/11 happened once permanently altered how crew & passengers would react to a hijack, literally on the same day. Everything else, the shoes and the liquids and all that, is useless theater.
william.maggosyea I was just going to say it's less passenger security where we can choose the airport but the security of people in buildings etc. but now that I think about it, I don't really get much choice in airports so can't choose my level of security. like a train.
