Mattivi is a sneaky addition to this team and gives them a ton of defensive depth once Erin Ambrose returns. Poulin to LTIR isn’t surprising, they are trying to get her right for the playoffs.
Ironically Mattivi might be taking the minutes of her college teammate Tamara Giaquinto. Giaquinto hasn’t done anything wrong in her ice time and has been a solid member of that blue line and is a big part of their depth as well.
