@stephenwhq Headlines should be written by a subeditor who has read the story, I'm not sure why you'd think otherwise.

Granted, SEO pressures have been distorting headline priorities for odecades at this point.

In general they do, but over thirty years of working with the press I've seen plenty of headlines which made the journalist who wrote the story cough up their coffee.
