Logged back in into #Destiny 1 last night just to check if my old account still exists and suddenly it's 1am and I'm running D1 legacy strikes with some new guardians 😄 Quite a few people online and in the tower. The original score by Martin O'Donnell and Michael Salvatori is still amazing and one of my all time favorite game soundtracks. The nostalgia hits hard. I almost forgot how good D1 was.

Many of the later D2 expansions and raids are based on recycled D1 areas, weapons and missions (Black Garden, Warmind, Moon, etc.) and the story is much more cohesive than in D2. One of the reasons being that Destiny wasn't a live service game, seasons didn't exists and the stories are immersive and complete. Most of it can be played solo and there is still an active community, even Vanguard matchmaking worked.
