On the 21st Parks Canada triggered an avalanche north of Lake Louise on Highway 93N. They're now extending the closure due to the size of the avalanche and how much snow it left on the road. It's covering a 250m stretch of highway up to a depth of 12m.

That's SO much snow!! I wanted to visit Crater Lake on my Oregon #roadtrip in 2024. All the way through to the lodge, there were about 3 metres of snow, with sticks marking the location of the highway and the parking lot. It was impressive that they'd ploughed all of that to open for the Memorial Day weekend.
