I’m working on translations for some App Intents. I had some [at]Parameters that previously _weren’t_ translated, but now they are. However, no matter what I try, it sure seems like the un-translated versions are what I see in the Simulator.

What can I look at to try to either fix the problem, or get Shortcuts to re-index the localizations?

@caseyliss you just have to wait. Translations in Simulator update... slooooowly. I haven't found any solution besides waiting :(
@bealex but daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad
@bealex @caseyliss is there some way to blame this on DNS?
@mce no, I guess that's another unsolvable programming problem... caching @caseyliss
@caseyliss
What you need is about 64 Mac minis…

@caseyliss I’m having this issue occasionally on iOS but almost always on Apple Watch in the system config sheet for widgets (new in 26). I have a long radar about it.

The extraction intents metadata automatic Xcode build process should extract the keys then look them up at runtime.

But it’s a system process and completely opaque. I think there’s a system bug causing lookup to not work sometimes but I haven’t definitely figured it out.

On Watch I have the issue where the same string may be looked up correctly on one widget but not another.

@qzervaas well throw my toot in that radar! :)
