Two continents. One strong partnership 🇪🇺🤝🇦🇺

After almost a decade of work, we concluded the EU–Australia Free Trade Agreement. A win on both sides.

The agreement will:
🌍 boost EU exports to Australia, with growth of 33% expected over the next decade
🌍 save €1 billion in tariffs
🌍 create new opportunities for businesses and farmers
🌍 strengthen cooperation on critical raw materials, security and defence, and research

A relationship built for the long term.

@EUCommission This is good news. Tho not perfect, as it's focused on the utility of people as objecfs rather than allowing people to move between the two states freely as humans, regardless of profession.
