@kuriko @mattgrayyes A fun* fact: Thomas Midgley Jr, who played a key role in the development of leaded petrol, then went on to create some of the first CFCs. It's been posited that he may be the single organism in history to cause the most environmental harm. After contracting polio, he designed a series of ropes to lift himself out of bed which he got entangled in and died.
