I’m so grateful to all of the mentors who pushed me forward when things were rough, and especially to the women who came before me and blazed trails while putting up with an incredible amount of bullshit. It sickens to me to see what is happening.

@elizabethjacobs.bsky.social Should there be women scientists in the NIH for the sake of doing science or for the sake of fighting sexism? Last I checked the NIH was a science organization.
