I mentioned to my parents how I'd been banned from a group chat after a chain of events that began when I made an off-hand comment in favor of Antifa, and my dad replied that I shouldn't have done that because it had been "provocative" on my part, though he didn't even ask what my comment was.

My parents are pretty liberal, but they sure aren't in any danger of being called "leftists".

@sec_yote_agenda Well, except for the US, the rest of the world sees liberals as neoliberals, which is people who believe capitalism is the best and only way for a society to thrive. It equals with extreme liberty not for citizen, but for the enterprise to dominate and monopolize markets (--> Amazon). Neoliberals are "free market" chuds.

No way would they wish or even accept a government putting the citizen rights above the market rights, regardless of how twisted ans crooked the enterprises are and act, including the bribing of politicians, SuperPACs and, of course the underhand lining of pockets of individual government officials. They love "citizen united". You see the problem?
