ios user interfaces have become truly nihilistic. buttons on top of buttons. text on top of text. multiple inscrutable hamburgers. nothing has any meaning and all human action is futile
@aparrish @jaeclectic I had an Iphone 5 and a Macbook Air, both from 2012. Both lasted 7 years for me, and I even sold the Macbook Air for 40% of it's purchase price (excellent condition, used it as a desktop, hardly ever touched the keyboard or trackpad). Loved them, let them go. It was an era that is no longer. Timing is everything. I feel for those folks who are stuck with what Apple has become.
Nonetheless, Linux and Android are quite usable and excellent in many ways (Samsung, Debian +XFCE). Immensely configurable, and largely satisfying. There are alternatives.
