Maybe it is 'TACO' again. This just in half an hour ago.

People did say that there was the possibility that #DonaldJTrump would try to find a way not to illegally bomb a nuclear power plant, that saved a little face. I was expecting something along the lines of blaming it upon some nebulous behaviour of an allied country and declaring the war over (again).

We've certainly got the repeat declaration of the war being (nearly) over.

Trump postpones strikes on Iran's power plants after 'productive' talks

The US president had threatened to launch an offensive if the Strait of Hormuz was not reopened by Monday evening.

@JdeBP Bush bombed power distribution points in Iraq with weapons designed to damage the infrastructure but not ‘too many’ people. That destruction of infrastructure was a factor in the breakdown in society that arguably has never been received from. Not that Trump would care about that though.

@Wen

Bush would have been told that 'nucular' power stations get their own specific provisions under the Geneva Conventions.

Even Rumsfeld and Cheney would have been more cautious about this sort of thing than #DonaldJTrump.

I have a suspicion that someone had a quiet word with Trump about going down in history as one of a very few people to have caused nuclear fallout in a war.
