Maidin mhaith...a quick hello and thought before I toddle off to do some work.

Can we all now agree that Trump is mad and has absolutely no clue how to end this war with Iran. He desperately needs someone to give him a way out because US petrol prices are starting to affect his approval ratings.

I unfortunately watched the first 15 mins of #SNLUK. It wasn't funny, the opening attacking Starmer was pitiful. There is a sketch were you can mock him for Trump but that wasn't it!

@jacqui76 so it's comparable with the US SNL then... people raved about it over there, but it didn't raise a flicker of a smile for me. As you say for the UK one, it just felt awkward. I felt a bit embarrassed for them.

@AbramKedge

I don't get SNL full stop, it is not funny but then I don't get American comedy either. So it's not a surprise that I didn't think #SNLUK was funny. It didn't even raise a smile with me.

I thought the whole thing was forced, why they had an American open the first UK show was a strange decision as well . I agree with you the whole thing was embarrassing.

I can't imagine it will do that well in the UK - America humour doesn't travel.
