@Adrianlan Yeah... except I just changed the SATA IDs on a couple of VM disks, and found out that Proxmox doesn't persist VM disk serial numbers
So Unraid is now all over the place on what drives I've got connected 🤦🏻

@Adrianlan I do also actually have proper hardware coming to build a NAS, so I don’t intend to run it live in a VM…

I previously used Proxmox, but I don't really want to be a home sysadmin.
Both my machines on Unraid now feel much easier to use.

@Adrianlan So this will mainly be file storage with probably some Immich, and possibly some Paperless thrown in 🫣
TBH, I don’t really run VMs, my Proxmox at the moment just runs a few LXC containers, and they’ll probably go away once I’ve got stuff on Unraid. I might even ditch it and just run normal Linux on it with Docker where needed 🤷🏻♂️
