My "world" account @OndrejZizka was banned for sharing Jake Broe's fundraiser for ukraine defense. https://www.help99.co/patches/jake-broe-x-kusto-campaign ?

Supposedly it's a spam. And so serious that the account will be deleted.

What is your stance on that? Will you ban me too? I haven't found any rule in "About" that this could violate. Thanks

Got a resolution. It was supposedly that I mentioned someone when sending a fundraiser link. But the mentioned account was #jakebroe#threads.net , which is the guy that runs the fundraiser. :-/ I guess it has triggered some antispam bot.

@OndrejZizka You should appeal it, I think, and make the point that the only mention was of the sponsor of the fundraiser.

Mentions are, by most definitions, the difference between fair promotion on the Fediverse and spam. Of course not everyone agrees with this, so we'll get reports anyway.
