I'm frequently unsure that I can handle witnessing the trauma of the violence inflicted by the US both within and outside of its borders. I don't know how we all push through it. My work still feels important and luckily aligned with or outright fighting this, but it's not enough.

It's traumatizing me and I'm not even directly targeted any of it (well besides the violence directed towards trans people I guess.) It's impossible for me to fully understand the trauma that directly targeted people are living through.
